Very early velvet Steiff Esel donkey. 4 1/2” from nose to butt w/o tail. Original felt ears showing perfectly impressed area where button once was. Entirely kapok filled with the teeniest glass bead eyes. Velvet has split at the top of the legs, one front leg is worn 3/4 of the way through. Wonderfully airbrushed black hooves.
