Early 13.5” Kapok filled mohair bear with photo provenance. Ted wears a navy wool nautical suit that has clearly been on him for most if not all of his life. It has saved the mohair on his body and limbs from being worn away like it is on his head. His pads have LONG ago been recovered with buttery soft leather. Ted has original boot button eyes. The accompanying photo appears to have been taken in the 1950’s or 60’s. The bear is clearly visible being held by his owner and wearing his navy wool suit. A charming snapshot of a lifelong friendship.
